Sr. Luz Ramirez, M.Id
Young Adult & Youth Minister
Sr. Luz Ramirez has been a consecrated member of the Idente Missionaries for 23 years and is Provincial Secretary of the women’s branch in the United States. During this time she has been working with Idente Youth at St. John’s University (1994-1998); in Madrid, Spain (1998-2007); in Chennai, India (2007-2011); and at our parishes in New York (2011-2017, 2019). In cooperation with other IY professors, she conducts weekly meetings at our Our Lady of Solace - Saint Dominic's Parish for kids, teens and young adults.
Luz obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 1996 and a Master of Arts in Theology in 1998, both from St. John’s University. She also serves as catechist and lector at Our Lady of Solace-St. Dominic Parish.
